Well done, I'm really pleased you managed to resolve the issue. I fell victim to a scammer. I guess it was my own fault really, I thought I was getting a bargain pair of sunglasses that turned out to be fake. I immediately complained and the seller said he would refund me if I sent them back. They mysteriously went missing in the post and so the seller got to keep my money, I had to claim via royal mail. It took over 4 months to get my money back, and I was a tenner out of pocket
The seller then left some very nasty feedback, calling me a nasty little liar and warning others to avoid me at all costs, just because I gave them negative feedback. This resulted in a ban on their account as sellers aren't allowed to leave buyers negative comments.
Thanks everyone, without or your help and advice I would have really ranted and lost all hope of persuading her to send it.
I was planning a really scathing negative feedback but will try and be restrained and factual if it does turn up.
I buy and sell a lot on ebay, most of the time with no problems but you do need to be on the ball. I bought a genuine pessoa which obviously wasnt. Seller agreed to a return for a refund but then the package mysteriously disappeared in the post. Had to claim from Post Office. Lesson learned..........always post recorded. Probably see it back on ebay soon!
Wow you also fell victim to the counterfeit market! I returned the fake sunglasses via recorded delivery, but they still managed to go 'missing', I think the guy just never bothered to collect them or something, or it was a duff address.
I was so upset as to how horrid it was, someone had made money out of shoddy fake products, and then turned nasty towards me for being honest with the feedback I gave! Paypal were pretty unhelpful as well, in the end the dispute was found in his favour as although I had proof of postage, he had never recieved them (apparently). They said afterwards that I should have posted the suspect fakes directly to them.
