I can't believe I am writing this post. My beautiful little working terrier boy was knocked down and killed on the road last night. Whoever didn't even stop - my hubby found him after his 4.5hr drive back to Wales.......the gate was open as my daughter had opened it for my hubbys arrival, my dad had popped out the house for a fag, came back in and thought he's come in with the others, but he'd gone off exploring. Rare occurance as he was so lazy!!
Otis came to us from a terrier man, he didn't like working on his own so the man decided to rehome him. He had lived his whole life outdoors but took to indoor life like a duck to water! He even slept in bed with me recently to keep me company when my hubby was away. He loved sleeping, rolling about and chasing his stumpy tail - he wagged it up and down! We only had him for about 6 mths but in that time he firmly took a huge hold on our hearts. He was a one in a million dog with the most amazing personality - he genuinely smiled and could lighten up your day. I nicknamed him 'Sqeeky Pig' as he squeeled like a pig sometimes, espcialy when he wanted your attention. He also like 'Poochie Poo' and 'Oatibix' - a complete softy for a hard terrier.
Sleep well my special little man, I can't wait for the day we meet again at Rainbow Bridge xx
