RIP Pam Carruthers

Hear hear! Hickstead would seem to be the obvious place in this country. I expected that the BSJA would have done a press release but nothing when I checked just before posting here.

Agree a trophy would be a fitting tribute to such a great lady who contributed so much to the sport. A pathfinder. Thanks to the Telegraph for their tribute. RIP Pam, you are now a legend....

Wonders why it only appeared on the HH news feed 5 days after the Telegraph published it. Maybe the editorial staff should read the DT to find out what is going on in the horse world!

She did and achieved so much in her life, often against the odds, one tough lady, and I respect that very much. Only wish I'd had the privilege of learning from her.

I agree that it's sad that the news of her death was delayed, but maybe this was a wish by her family or something, for a bit of quiet? I don't know.

But I agree, friends, that a trophy in her name at a big competition would be nice, and where better than Hickstead?

RIP, while your knowledge lives on, and will be passed on to future generations x
