I don't know if anyone remembers that a couple of Christmases ago one of our cats had something undiagnosed wrong with him that caused an almost complete neurological shutdown. With a lot of care he pulled through and made a huge recovery. However sadly he started to decline again neurologically and PTS was sadly the only option.

RIP Percy. We will all miss you so much.

When he recovered enough to start to walk again, I used a long scarf under his tummy to help support his weight. He would then try to rush off outside because he loved being outdoors. He didn't understand that he needed to go around tables and chairs because I couldn't go under them. He was so determined to get outside that he wanted to go in a straight line. I soon learnt that it was better to carry him out and then we could potter around the lawn together.

I'm so sorry MC. I do remember when he became ill and the effort and love you gave to make him well again. You did an amazing job and Percy was a lucky lucky cat to have such a fantastic owner to spend two more years with. RIP handsome lad. Warmest hugs to you MC. xxxx

I'm so sorry for your loss.
Percy obviously had a very large personality as well as being a handsome cat.
You gave him a wonderful life, and I'm sure his spirit will never be far away.
Again, many condolences.
