My friends old horse was put down on Sunday, he was 29 and had been retired for 5 years.
She got him as a slightly nuerotic 3 yo who was scared of everything and he went on to compete Nationally and Internationally as a single in driving trials and nationally as a tandem. When she retired from driving he went on to event with several local kids but he never really liked dressage.
His tandem buddy was put down at the start of the winter, so i'm sure they will enjoy chasing each other round Rainbow bridge.
