Unfortunately the old girl from the yard was found down in her stable this morning. We believe she had a stroke and couldn't get back up. She was clearly very poorly and it was her time to go. The man from the hunt came to do the deed just as I was leaving, I wouldn't cope with hearing the shot. She was 41 and yesterday was pottering round the field looking after the youngsters. So sad. RIP Puff. Run Free.

RIP Puff. A great age and has to be good that she was only ill for so short a time. Many condolences to everyone. Horrible Christmas for you.

Hi Amycov,
I feel for everyone involved. X
But she didn't suffer, + it was quick, so may that bring comfort to her owner. As will remembering all the things she did in her long life. Puff was a special lady. With love, BS X

Very sad at any time, so much worse on Christmas day. What a credit to the owner. Rest in Peace Puff

Sad but what a wonderfull old age and still happy right up to the end. Not a bad way to go, and surely a big thankyou to the huntsman coming out to help the horse on Christmas day.Rest in peace Puff.
