I am so sorry, I do know how much it hurts. You have special and personal memories of him, and you have now done the kindest thing ever, despite it being the hardest thing you have ever doen for him. Big hugs to you.

A very brave and dignified tribute to the passing of someone who sounds to have been extra special. It's a bittersweet thing, letting them go yet knowing the sadness you feel in their absence should really be a gladness they have left ingood time.
