Sorry to hear of your loss of sweet squeaky. Love his markings.
xx
I had them when younger and never forget the morning i opened their house to see many many babies! We tranformed the garden into a playpen for them all ? Absolutely adorable wee pigs that always loved a snuggle.
Thank you, he was one of a pair that started my piggie owning 2 years and 9 months ago. He was nearly 4. His girlfriends (mum and daughter) are 3 and 2.3 and seem quite OK thankfully. Tears from the kids. Need to dig a hole in the garden later.
Oh no, I am so sorry - he was a handsome little dude ?
Losing any pet is awful, but it's the price we have to pay for loving them so much and having them in our lives. Our rescue piggy is 4 now, and I just want to hit the pause button for a few years so that he doesn't get any older.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I had guinea pigs as a child, and their squeaky voices were the first things that I heard when I woke up! Each day, I had to clean them out and feed them before I went to school. I was so upset when they died, I wasn't allowed any more after they had all gone.
They had a special burial plot in the vegetable garden, with their individual graves marked by pretty pebbles.
Seeing the kids sad is the worst bit tbh, and explaining that that is the downside to pets ? he's now buried in our veg patch with a temporary ice cream stick cross to mark it until we find something better. Thank you for your words.
