That was a lovely eulogy, he was a great horse and 30years of age is wonderful for a TB, what a wonderful life he had and its good to hear his owners did the sensible and kind thing at the end.

I used to visit Storm Cat when I would be in KY. He was a cool dude and the farm was brilliant. SC lived out nearly 24/7. The farm was very much horses need to be horses.

I was also at a farm in California learning how to gallop when the first crop of SC's came through. And then I galloped at the track for Overbrook's main trainer. So I have been on many of his sons and daughters over the years.

RIP Storm Cat

Very sad to hear Storm Cat has passed away. Lovely horse, and a great stallion.
Loved your piece on him, pinnyjik, and I loved your pet name for him! Very apt, I think. He was a ball of muscle.
And it is nice his owners weren't prepared to put him through any more. They obviously loved him a lot.
He will live on through a great legacy. RIP Storm Cat
