Very sad to hear of the passing of Tom Hudson

To many he WAS the voice of British Showjumping...commentating and judging at shows all over the world.

Those who compete at the Amateur Inter-Nations Show will know his voice from that. I was drinking with him in the bar there just a few months ago now

Was very sad and shocked to hear this from friends last night.

I was only talking to him last week at the New Forest Show. He always seemed to know the right things to say and the show won't be the same without him.

He was excellent at his job and will be sadly missed.

RIP Tom.

Very sad news indeed, Agree with Rambo, THE voice of showjumping and the County and International shows. A true professional.Lets hope that something suitable to remember him can be arranged.

I usually only lurk on here, but on reading this sad news I just had to post. Tom was also a great friend of us in the heavy horse world - he always did the commentary at the Southsea heavy horse parade, and on several occasions he came with our pair as we went on a fundraising drive around the pubs of Southsea. He was only in our lorry on Thursday evening, RIP Tom, you will be missed.

was totally shocked to read this - he's one of those people who you expect to be around forever!!
He & Raymond Brookes Ward were Olympia for me & the thought of not hearing his familiar voice again is very sad

RIP Tom
