RIP Trevor

Just would like to say RIP to dear Trevor, sorry he didn't see 30. He had a lovely few years with his Mum and was just the nicest character. Although he only lived with use for just over a year we will miss him and wonder at the huge gap he leaves.

His companion of the past couple of months, Toby terror misses him and will no doubt return to his bad ways without the old chap to temper his cheek.

Trev went for his last mooch on Sunday morning, happy to be out. However he decided that his time had come this morning and the best thing was done. His Mum said her goodbyes and went away before the end, just to keep the happy memories. He went to sleep as though he'd dozed off in the sun, fitting and dignified for a grand old man.

TBH, I think they 'went to the kennels' in my mind and we had little actual involvement, plus now they seem to live a longer generally. Quite agree though that it seems to happen all too often. ~Perhaps~ we did not say much about losing a horse?
