Thank you everyone once again.
We phoned her previous owner today who was upset to hear, but had thought it was due a long time ago.
I hope to be able to see some old photos of her as i'd love to see her when she was "younger" (30!).
Today when I came back from work was very hard... I guess it'll take a while to get easier.

I am so so so sorry. Trixie was (and still will be) one of my favourite hho ponios. She was so gorgeous.
My heart goes out to you hun, she was so lucky to have you, and you made a very hard but sensible decision

She was obviously loved beyond belief though and very, very lucky to have lived with you for those ten years.
40+, there's not many people who can claim to have looked after a horse to such an amazing age. You made the right decision though.
