'RIP Wesley'

[Fairynuff]

Wesley was put to sleep this morning. He was found down in his box and all attempts to get him to his feet failed. As a young chap he jumped for Begium in various intenationals and managed to be included on 2 'Nations Cup' finals so he could 'pop a pole' when asked

. He spent his last 6 or 7 years here with me and was an absolute gent in all that he did . Im going to miss him so much but at least i was there when he passed on to the grass at the other side.
I will never get used to loosing my neds

I phoned his owner as soon as I had called the vet. She couldnt come as she had meetings but phoned a few times to hear what was being done and how he was responding . When I phoned to say that he had gone she thanked me and asked me to keep his box as she was thinking about sending me her old mare. I feel quite chuffed

oh wow, 36. that is an amazing age. he looked wonderful. how nice that he such a lovely home for his last years.
