I'm so sorry to hear that Esther, frank sounded like such a lovely chap. I owned a gelding for many years who looked very much like Frank so I particularly liked admiring the photos you posted. I hope that you are ok; it is very difficult to loose them when they've become a part of the family.

for those that don’t know he was a reject from our local somewhat rough diy yard down the road (as was mums palo). The owner hacked him past our house soon after she bought him and I was annoyed we hadn’t been to see him (was in the free ads, no photo, but far away). After 2.5 months she couldn’t ride him so declared him dangerous, he was very fat and I made mum buy him ?.
There were times that the fact that he was rock solid in traffic (def not dangerous ;) ) was the only reason he got to stay.

apart from a 4 year hiatus when I took him to my back garden in wilts he’s lived in mums back garden and it’s going to be very strange to have no horses here once GG’s loan cob goes home tomorrow.

Hi ester, sorry to hear about your loss. Did you know his breeding at all (if you said in previous posts sorry)?
Even though a different colour he looks the exact same build as my welsh cob x, who was my absolute best mate.
My man has been gone for 11 years, but I still shed a tear this week when it was his birthday.
They trample all over your heart whilst with you and then take it with them when they go.
Big hugs.

After 17 fabulous years we've said goodbye to Frank at 29, having had a fabulous retirement courtesy of MummyEster. He went with a mouthfull of polos and not knowing a thing. He leaves a big hole.

Sorry for your loss ester. I’ve always enjoyed your posts about Frank. You were both lucky to share your lives together and it must be very hard be to lose him.
