RIP

Last night a stunning 16.2 hh Grey TB was put to sleep on our yard. She had been suffering with narcolepsy (sp?) which had been getting progresivly worse over the last couple of months. She was a mare with great talent and had it not been for her worsening condition she would not have been put to sleep. She was only 8 and had much to give. RIP sweety.
I think she laid down for the first tme in the last two years as i think she was too afraid to lie down before. yeaterday she fell alseep for one last time I think it was for the best but it was sad nonetheless. Just had to post this as i have been feeling sad about it even though it wasnt my horse!

It is sad and reading your post, I felt a lump. It is awful to loose good horses and I am sure the owner made the correct decision.
