IMO the horse campaigns on tv were next to useless anyway - the horses should not have been two abreast and the amount of awful tacky multicoloured hi viz the horses and riders were wearing was not going to encourage anyone to wear the stuff. Single file horses and riders in yellow tabards and matching leg/hat bands would have been far more realistic and appealing.
Do agree that they should mount a campaign, btw, but they should put a bit more thought into it. A professional rider wearing hi-viz would be a good start to be aimed at riders, while something like that awful picture of a horse through a windscreen would make far more impact with drivers.
Also, the adverts should be on at peak times, not just at 3am in the morning!
