I don't walk my pup on the road very often as there is no need, however, a few times over the past couple of months we've had a short walk down the road to my neighbours house. I started teaching her to sit on the verge on command during these walks and today, having not done any road training for weeks, I was really surprised that she responded to the command with out any guidance! So basically, this is our third session on it, each session less than 10 mins long. I can't believe how quick cocker learn!

Pointless post really, but feeling proud so wanted to share! Feel free to post vids of your dogs being clever :biggrin3:
 
That's so cute and such a good idea on narrow country lanes. Not sure I can get a YouTube video on here of my two being sent away separately for retrieves.
 
That's so cute! Do they ever try and get in to catch them?

The eventual aim is to take her out running/riding/cycling so total control on the road is a must!
