Roarer : getting worse?

Has anyone had any experience of a roarer degenerating? My horse has always coped fine with his condition but is considerably louder at the moment!

Try winergy ventilate, changed my horse completely

How fit is he at the moment? They tend, in my experience, to make less noise when they are fit, but it can be a degenerative condition and it may simply be getting worse.
