Does anyone have any opinions on the dressage rider Rob Waine, or have any experience of sending their horse to him to compete? I'm currently pregnant with my first child and trying to decide what to do with my talented WB and I'm toying with the idea of getting a professional to school him and compete him for the next 9 months, as he is still pretty green and would benefit from someone progressing with his education whilst I can't. I've seen Rob at some shows and he looks like a lovely rider, but I would love to hear some feedback from people that perhaps know him better. My horse is a rather sensitive chap and needs someone who is a quiet rider, with not too strong a hand, but is also firm when required.
Alternatively, if anyone else has any suggestions in the Oxon/Bucks area of other suitable professional riders I'm open to suggestions (ideally within 30minute drive of J6 M40). They would need to be no higher than a Group 3 rider as I'd be looking for someone to take him to Novice Silver summer regionals this year and then to carry on competing him at Elementary silver, ideally AFs this summer and then aiming for Elem 2016 winter regionals 2017 (which they would most likely have the ride at, as I don't think I'll be ready to ride him in time for them).
Thanks
