I have to say I feel sorry for this guy. He has had hs name and face splashed all over international news accused of a really horrendous crime with no real evidence that I can see. Can you imagine how horrible that must be. Of course if he is guilty of anything I hope they get him and throw away the key but its looking less and less likely at the moment.

The problem is, the ONLY person who knows what happened is the person that was there. If I were Robert Murat and nothing could be found to link me, as is the case, I believe, I would expect a very big public apology at the least.

I immediately felt sorry for this guy as it just seemed a case of "pick on the unmarried bloke who happened to be nearby". This is why I don't like being the only adult at my yard when kids are around...

In your case I can imagine feeling a bit vulnerable in those circumstances. As far as Robert Murat goes, I'm still not certain of anything, althoug I did feel at the time that the search was on to find anybody other than a local native resident to blame

At times I feel VERY vulnerable. Some of the staff at my yard are under 16 and I am not comfortable talking to them alone, or hacking with other liveries (when they ask me) in the same age group.

I don't know how the rules of evidence work in Portugal, but none of the "celebrity suspects" could ever get convicted of anything here now and had the English press done the same, they would have had Contempt of Court actions on them a long time ago.

I don't really feel sorry for anyone right now.......except for Madeleine.

No-one has been proved guilty or innocent. I'm more sitting back and waiting to see what the evidence with throw up. Once someone has been convicted then will be the time to feel sorry for people.
