following my post about a good training centre to go to for a couple days somebody has recommended Robert Pickles FBHS as a good trainer to look for..I know he sometimes teaches in Hampshire but does anyone use him/have a contact for him?? I think he goes to Hurstbourne Pryiors for 2 day clinics which is what Im looking for....thanks
 
I've had a couple of lessons from him and didn't really like him however I know a few others who use him and really rate him highly.
I'm sure you can get his details through the british dressage website, trainers database.
 
He teaches at Lavant House Stables occasionally and think he also does clinics at Hoplands (have one in August). I know LHS for definate so regular clinics with him.

I've seen him teach a lot, and have been taught by him a couple of times. Thought he was good (have only had flat lessons with him).
 
thanks for that..yes hes doing a clinic at Hoplands but its only a one day and was hoping to find somewhere that he was for 2 consecutive days if that makes sense..have looked at Lavant but been put off by the website..looks a bit kiddy riding schoolish...but I might give them a call and see if hes doing more than one day stuff...

LHS is definately not RS/kiddy like - far from it
