Dont listen Tee Hee (that person must have had a bad experience) - he is FAB, I had another dentist from Rotherham so mine for years (supposedly a fully trained equine dentist and well known) and he talked so much I was never sure he had done it right. Robert came out and let me feel inside - it was unbelievable...I was disgusted!
Some people say that he always has to sedate - this is utter rubbish he has never asked me to sedate mine and I have a 17.1hh, he just goes and does his job. I saw him do another liveries next to me last time he came and the horse was being an absolute pain in the butt, mini rears etc and he was just great with it and spent double the time as normal to make sure he did it properly!

Lol! You know my thoughts on him and I know I am not alone. If it works for you, fair enough but having been there, done that and experienced his utter incompetence (all the gera no idea springs to mind!), I wouldn't ever have him out again. Hey, that was a long time ago then, maybe he's learnt some horsemanship skills in the meantime!!!
Having never ever had to have a horse sedated for dental treatment until he arrived on scene though did not sit well with me and HE was the one who insisted on it!
