Rarely do I post pics where I'm in the shot or do show reports so I thought I would share our accumilation of rosettes and trophies (which go back in a couple of weeks). Looking back now Roberto really has done well in his inhand showing and its time for a change.

Now a 4 yo he is getting all grown up and going well with his hacking and schooling I am bowing out of the inhand showing. TBH Roberto is getting a bit fed up with it and so am I. I just love riding this pony! :D

Had to include a pic of his two little buddies. It has been a long time coming where I am not walking the girls out and can ride out with them ! Yippee :D

Thanks Flaxenpony and TBG - He is a Welsh Sec D - from the Parc / Synod lines. Will probably make 14.3 and definately more the riding type as opposed to the inhand cob

He is b e a u tiful, I have a soft spot for welshies :biggrin3:

Also pleased to see that a lovely slim one did so well showing too!

Well we did try a Welsh medal show and was told by the judge he needed alot more condition ! Urrmm no thanks!

It doesn't feel like long since I saw him at that Monty Roberts demo, but my goodness!! He's grown up SOO much!! Stunning horse :)
I'd only had him a month then, that was a year and a half ago ! Only started backing him this Spring though and still keeping it easy and low key. No rush - he is grown up but still a baby :)

Thank you Sprinkles and Gracie
I do feel really blessed to have him. Beauty is often only skin deep but his personality is so enchanting, working with him is a dream!
Being a Welshie he has his moments but its normally confusion rather than naughtiness. He tries so hard to please and that's all I can ask of him.
Will probably start looking for an instructor soon to work with us as I'm a bit rusty and really want to take him beyond my capabilities. Any recommendations in the south beds area ?
