I don't know why, but I was so moved by seeing Robin Gibb's dogs following his funeral procession on the news this evening.

They are 2 magnificent wolfhounds, who wore black ribbons round their necks. It seemed very poignant somehow.

And of course the horses with their plumes, pulling the hearse, looked just beautiful.

If you scroll down the news story, there is a lovely photo of the dogs.

Really sad. The dogs and the horses were stunning. Feel most for his poor mum, she has lost 3 out of her 4 boys.
How about the ex mistress and their child, wasn't that long ago, the baby looks really young.

I took my terrier to my mother in law's funeral as she really loved her, and it really made it special (she also had the horse drawn and a wicker coffin too :-)))

Normally Taggie is very naughty but she was very well behaved in church and by the graveside.

The thing that makes me really cry is when hunting peoples horses are led behind the coffin and they blow 'gone away' on the horn....
