Anyone know where you can buy parts for the pony trap?? MY doorbell just went and livery mum just said there was an accident in the school and the trap went over and broke the swivel tree so we need a new one.
I doubt they do parts! A man (without being sexist ) will be able to make you a new one though We use a variety of people that specialise in carriages, and car/van/lorry people to fix ours
Robinsons carts are made abroad, but they may be able to put you in touch with the manufacturer for a new one. Otherwise you need to find a blacksmith or other handy welder-wielder.
Incidentally, I had an accident in a Hillam cart a few years ago, and they sent out a new swingletree by return post. Very impressed.
