hello, just wondering whether anyone had used these? not sure if the link will work, so won't try it.. but are they good at all? i really fancy some long leather boots and these look rather good for their money (little bit strapped for cash right now - can't really pay over £100) do they last long, does the zip break? all that kind of stuff.. any help much appreciated and choccies if you've read this far!!

I bought some robinsons own boots (About £70) and the zip broke the first time i tried them on. Too be fair robinsons Refunded my money. But the metal the zip was made out of was soft and never going to last. Hope this is of help.

i bought the softy top boots-im a standard calf fitting in normal boots like mountain horse and tbh these were way to baggy round the ankle for me-could not ride in them as they gave me no support at all! have bought instead the shires norfolk boots-fantastic and just under £100. however their calf sizing comes up very small and i had to buy the extra large calf size!! they do have a full range of width fittings tho and info of sizes is on website. would highly recommend tho-lovely soft leather so needed no wearing in and wore most weekends last season with no problems!!

Well a friend and i bought a pair each about 2 years ago, she bought a narrow and they are still going strong (she rides nearly everyday) and i bought the wide i had to have my zips replaced about 3 months ago which is to be expected because i have big calves and put more strain on the zip.

I would definitely buy another pair, maybe my friend and i are the lucky ones.
