I want to buy a full neck fleece rug. Robinsons have a nice one for about £25 but Weatherbeeta also have a great one for about £44. Ned currently has a mix of Masta and Weatherbeeta. (But I've gone off Masta as they don't seem to fit him as nicely.)

Are the Robinsons ones durable? Will I really get twice the use out of the Weatherbeeta one?

i bought a robo`s rug once and it came apart in the 1st week,i`m afraid that put me off them.(i did get my money back though).
i like weatherbeeta stuff,my rugs are a few years old and still in good nick.

I have some Robinsons rugs that are nearly 10 years old. Haven't bought any for a few years (4/5 years?) so couldn't say if they are still OK, but they definatly were fine. Mine isn't a rug trasher though.

I wouldn't touch the Robinsons brand with a barge pole. They have got worse in quality. I use Weatherbeeta & Saxon - both good for a horse with a big shoulder

Thanks everyone. I've now managed to find the Weatherbeeta rug I liked for the same price as the Robinsons one. No contest now!
