My friend who is a qualified instructor gave me a lesson 
She said we can make it a regular thing and shes going to start riding out with me on hacks to help build my confidence.
My boy was his usual little poppet self again. Didn't put a foot wrong. I'm now almost 100% sure his little blip was just one off oat fuelled moment. I'm having his teeth and back checked though just to be safe (plus he's due a visit from the dentist anyway)
I've also found someone else to ride out with. Another lady who also keeps her horse at the same farm where I keep mine has offered for me to ride out with her every weekend. She's only recently just got her confidence back after her old gelding shattered it through constantly throwing massive bronco bucks with her, so she completely understands what I'm going through.
