Rodbaston Intro

Has any one done the Intro at Rodbaston?? Would you recommend it?

Looking at last year's Oct results it seems there were very few Sj clears and most had XC time faults? Is it a long XC??

i have been round there doing pony club and it is a nice course! not overly long, although have never done BE so not sure what time is like compared to PC. Im sure if you kept in a nice rhythym though you wouldnt get time faults.

TBH i dont see any reason you would have sj faults as they hold BSJA shows there and have plenty of DC's so i suppose it could just be the horses!

I did it a couple of years ago. Nice XC- flat and quite straightforward. Only a few more technical ones towards the end. SJ was smallish I thought- on SLIGHT slope but not major- we had one down on the downhill bit toward home tho!
Mind you- girl after me fell off at first fence which was about 2'6" so maybe dont look at past results?!

did it last year - i got 4 time faults which i was very suprised about because i didnt go that slow - not a particularly long xc either. very small SJ and xc no big questions xc really - very nice straight forward event, good dressage warm up worth a go - they also rarely ballot!
