Last time I attempted this I couldn't get on! :o Thought I would have another go today and managed it! My boy is an ex racer so high wither and prominent spine! It was such good fun - though I now have a sore bum! :p Perhaps investing in a bareback pad might be good once I have some money?! Apparently it is good for building wasted wither muscle so I may have to bareback more often. How often does everyone else bareback?

Well done :D
I often ride Lucy bareback even hacking out as i'm to lazy to put a saddle on :D.
I never ride Herbie bareback as i'd probably DIE :p
Last time i rode Lucy bareback she still had loads of winter coat and i had such a hairy bum :p :D :D :D It's so much fun though.

I LOVE riding bareback! I should do it more often really, but ive been concentrating on jumping recently and i wont do that bareback! but when i school i often do it bareback.
When i first got my boy i rode bareback for 2 months before we found a saddle to fit him

I ride bareback occasionally but then I've got a very comfortable Andalusian who is as smooth as silk to ride. Not sure I could cope on a TB though, youre very brave. Its fun going round the gallops BB although I do worry about stopping!

Everyday almost atm! :D Twice yesterday jumping hehe. Love it :) My TB lads such a dude, he knows not to trot bareback so it's always just walk-canter-walk...no wither damage! LOL.
