Rode for first time in over a month!!!

It's been over a month since i last rode thanks to the snow and ice. It has FINALLY gone!!! Unfortunately, Osc thinks he's wild now after living out and not being ridden for a month, so it was erm... interesting. Even after 2x 20 min lunging sessions (he bloomin rolled in the wet sand after the first one so had to wait for him to dry!) he was a plank. After about 20min on board he started to chill out a bit but i think this was to lull me in to a false sense of security so he could have giant spooks when i least expected it. And he did.

It's good to be back!

Although a bit upsetting how all our good work has been undone and in fact he went worse than ever. But never mind.

Ditto!!!! I rode for the first time today too since 31/12. Felt so good to be back in the saddle again though it was strange at first. Didnt think I could throw my leg over when mounting as seemed so long since Id done that. Muscles came out of retirement at last!!! Went for a hack out and he was a very good boy considering.

Haha i'm the same, muscles are complaining a bit now! It was the 15th dec last time i rode. I think me and the lad were both in the same boat about trying to remember how it worked. Only he was concentrating a lot more on a plastic bag in the corner than i was.
