Rode Monty without being led for the first time

Very pleased with little Monty today, I got on him from the stool (first time as i usually get a leg up), he was good and stood still while i got on.
Decided to not take him in the school as i don't want him getting bored of that so we just walked around the yard a few times each way (a circuit around barnes in the middle of the yard) I did have to be led away from my other two horses as he seems to have got a bit attached to them but once we started walking we were fine, he then stopped when i asked and walked on when i used my legs and said 'walk on'
Hopfully things will carry on going well.

Thanks, Iv had him since he was 1 1/2 years, he was 3 in march so i am backing him, then will turn him away til he is 4, well that is the plan
