Managed to peice up a bridle together to fit her little head, and luckily my old pony saddle fits her
She was very good to tack up which is a good start!
Got on her and she immediately tucked her little head in. She was quite established in walk, and did some nice work, so i pushed her on into trot and she was very wobbly! She kept trying to slow down and speed up, and got abit confused on the corners, but we ended up doing some quite nice work
We did a tiny bit of pole work just to see if she was familiar with poles (apparently she has jumped but I can't believe it, shes far too unbalanced!). She walked over them very "greenly" to start with, but ended up going over them quite nicely, and did them once in trot which she did perfectly so we called it a day at that
She is very very promising and went a LOT better than when we went to try her which is good. She will take a lot of work but I really do think she will be wonderfull with a bit of one to one work and TLC
Cant hack her out on the roads yet as she has only been led on the roads, so that will be exciting when we do (in a few weeks proberbly!). Have given her a good brush today and washed her tail and plaited it
She looks a lot better already!
