sorry if this has been posted before
just wondered what peoples thoughts were on it. it looks nice and fitted, so reducing the clumpiness factor of a body protector, which appeals.

want it for eventing, with the shoulder guards, and thought it looked good, so yeah, what do other people think?

I am on my second one and find them really comfy. I also have an airowear zippa which is much the same but maybe a tiny bit heavier.

Hi L, I have a RP body protector and I love it! It is made of a foam that moulds to your body once it gets warm, so you don't feel like you're wearing a corset with no freedom to move or breath.

I think other people who have used different makes will tell you they like theirs too but I don't have a bad word to say about this make

You need to try one, I couldn't get one to fit, I know I have a bit of a chest, but even the expert from Rodney Powell said I would have to have one specially made. I had and liked the Racesafe RS2000 one and am lucky enough to have invested in the new Kan Teq one - H&H did a report on it a few weeks ago.

I am on my 2nd RP and shoulder pads. I use the old 1 for SJ and the new 1 for XC. It fits very well and protects the lower back and shoulder blade.

I've got one!! I love it as much as I like any BP, I find all of them hot, but mine is very comfy and fits well. Got it fitted at a shop and ordered, would recommend doing this.

I have one and love it (though bit of squeeze with the boobs at times!!!), but sis has aerowear one and loves that!!! Just try them on and get it fitted to you!!! Also (this will sound v stupid) but when trying it pretend to be on horse goin xc eg give with arms etc

I am an odd shape apparently. My local tack shop took my measurements and Rodney Powell made me up a special body protector and I wasn't charged any extra for this, took about a week for it to arrive.

I've got one and had to have it made to measure as well but it was the same price as an off the shelf and it fits like a glove. I wouldn't be without it and ride in it almost every day

I got a purple and black one made with shoulder pads and I love it. Have fallen off in it too and it certainly helped to protect me!

I love mine too! I find it is a bit tight when I first put it on (I had it fitted so I've left in on the fitting it was sold to me as) but within 5-10 minutes I forget I have it on. I actually feel strange when taking it off after a 45 minute lesson!
Some people don't like them though and prefer the more flexible types, such as the RaceSafe ones.

Oooohhh... Can you tell me more about this BP? Being a lady who is larger in the bust area, I always make friends laugh saying that I can't do X-country because I can't breathe in man-shaped BPs and I need holes cut out!!! Maybe this is the (expensive) answer. Full report welcomed. Sorry to hijack post.

I got mine from http://www.tackshop-online.com/Product%20pages/Kanteq%20body%20Protector.htm

Basically its shaped round the boobs (sorry to be crass!) - not like a conventional body protector, its a little heavier I think too, but I don't notice this when I am on. It has a front zip up fastening and comes with the shoulder pads which velcro on or off. I have found that my boobs (again sorry) have room and because of this my arms aren't restricted. The back is also shaped and its curved to go over your bum. Mine just felt right from when I put it on, I could breathe!

Extremely different to any other body protector and sorry to have continued the hijack of the post!
