Hi all,
Well after my thread about online horse shops last night, i went an visited them all and found some lovely gloves on dressage deulxe.
They are Roeckl Chester, a brand i have had no previous experiance with. They are available as normal gloves and winter ones, (the winter ones are an extra £10) i was looking into the winter ones as i don't normal wear gloves in the summer.
Here they are:

Also with a bit of bling:D
I believe, (well it certainely looked like) Charlotte Dujardin wore a very simillar pair on the front cover of H&H last month? They were also in the "Bargin to blowout" section in Augusts " Your Horse" magazine.
So, my question is has anyone had a pair of theses gloves or any experiance with the brand? I just want a nice pair of gloves just for riding in when the weather gets a bit colder, but was going to place an order with dressage deulxe as soon as i'm back in UK, so was going to order them then despite it still being summer:D
Thank you:)

I have a pair. Love them. KaliBear has, however, managed to pull the reins through my hands enough that they are starting to look a little tatty.

I LOVE the Chesters - my default gloves! However, for winter I use the Ariat Insulated Tek Grip gloves - lovely and toasty!!

Thank you! I've never herd of them before so wasn't sure!
Ooo forgot about Ariat! Will have a look at them now. I made the mistake of using a cheap pair of riding gloves last year and they were awful! So want to make sure i've got some proper ones ready!:)

Thank you, i think thats what my mare will do to! But i'm looking to change my reins in the next month or so, so should be okay before winter:)

The Ariat ones are lovely and warm but they aren't waterproof.....

Well today was my birthday.. and wrapped up in a little parcel...Was the gloves from the link i originally posted!:D One very happy girl thanks to my lovely Nanny and Grandad, can't wait to try them out, but will be swapping my reins 1st! xx

My Roekl ones also got trashed on my reins, I thought it was just me so glad others have had the same issue! I do love them despite this, I am putting a new pair on my christmas list. They are lovely and lightweight and I forget I am wearing them. I've always struggled with gloves as they annoy me but these I can tolerate! Worth the money IMO...

If you use rubber reins synthetic gloves are not up to the job (except neoprene) imo. I swear by Tuffa Dereham gloves which are leather with a stretch back and very good value. Tuffa also do a Gallop glove which I'm using at the moment which is aimed at racing but gives really good grip and is fantastically tough - only downside is I hate the colour (grey and black; everything I wear is brown).

I use Roeckl Chester gloves now having gone through several pairs of cheaper ones. I only use them for competitions and I have rubber reins. They have had about a dozen outings and no sign of wear on them. I love them...light and flexible and great grip!

Brilliant gloves! Initially I thought they looked like they'd last a few months max but I've got a few pairs now, some I've had for donkeys and they keep on going! :)

I have the roeckl chesters, winter and summer weights, and I love them. I do have to replace them every year or two tho as I have bobble reins but I get plenty of wear out of them before they need to be replaced.

They're not waterproof, but are very comfy, even when wet. :p

Thank you for your replies!
Atm i have the fabric reins, not the bobbly ones but the other ones...if you know what i mean!
I'm buying new reins as it is, but do not want to trash my new gloves so am not wearing them until i have new reins:p
What reins do you use those who have the gloves have?! Thank you!
