ROK wellies any good??

Anyone got any feedback on ROK wellies? I need warm riding wellies for my daughter and have seen these, are they worth buying?
 
I didn't like them - they were very stiff and cut into my legs. The grips went quickly and found myself slipping over all the time.

Think they lasted for approx 6 mnths before joining all the other pairs of boots I have trashed in 'wellie heaven'....!

However they were warm x
 
I read up on these about a year and thought they sounded great (British alternative to muck boots) but couldn't find any. Have just ordered two pairs of the riding style from EC for daughter and me as we are fed up with muddy jodhpurs boots and chaps and our wellies aren't good for riding in. Hopefully they will be up to the job but sorry can't say for certain as haven't got them yet.
 
I bought the neoprane ROK wellies about 4 weeks ago. Both boots have split in several places already and the insole has come out of one. They have had a lot of use but they shouldn't have burst that easily.
Also not as easy to get on and off as the muck company ones and smaller made.

Wouldn't recommend them.
 
Oh dear hope I haven't wasted more money on wellies - apparently they are British designed, not made in GB but I understand they have a guarantee so will have to double check. Still, I'm sure they won't be any worse than my £65 Ariat mud busters, which although a great, comfy fit lasted less than 5 months of very light use. Seems impossible to find decent wellies under £120 and I refuse to part with that sort of money.
 
Brought some from YH Live last weekend and am not impressed.

The right boot has a sharp crease that digs into the top of my foot when im walking, the left is not as bad, but just walking across a field to change rugs, I was in quite a bit of pain.

They were meant as a cheaper a replacement for my faithful old Muck Boot Tynes that died :(
 
No - absolute rubbish. We stocked them last year as we had a problem getting the Muck boots when they changed distributor, had loads back as they split. Stick to Muck boots if you can find the originals. Interestingly, the Muck Boots have changed back to original distributor, but have changed factory of manufacture. Rumour has it that they have gone downhill since :(

I threw a pair of wellies out last month after my third winter wearing them all the time. £12.99 from Asda, and I've replaced them with a pair from Countrywide for £15. I had a pair from a concession in Dobbie's that cost under £25 that lasted for three years.

Don't give up hope!
 
They split VERY quickly. They're just another rubbish rip off of muck boots. There's normally a reason why everyone has them on sale and I'd say it's blatantly obvious now! I'd rather spend my money on a pair of proper muck boots, mine lasted 3years of hard use (just don't buy the ribble soled ones unless you have aspirations of being an ice skater).

They have, and the price has been hiked!! We made the decision not to stock them anymore as after the ROK debacle, and now Muckboots having issues too. We have lost so much money on boots it just made sense not to stock them.
 
They are rubbish do not waste your money, bought a pair in January the riding type, wore them for about a month and one ankle was agony cut through the skin then holes and splits started to appear, so took them back to shop she changed them and I didnt wear them all summer just sat in the cupbourd, started wearing them around sep within about 3 weeks massive splits at the fron of the ankle on both boots then holes and more splits on the sides started, I never even rode in the second pair just mucking out going to field, also my horses are at home so dont walk far and my field gate is next to stable block so really got no use at all.
I tried to get the company details and on the website there are no contact details as I was going to take pictures and email them, they are £80 and I think its such a rip off I am currently wearing them with plastic bags in them and they are falling apart total rubbish.
 
The good:
I was outside, standing up, all day Fri, Sat, Sunday 10am-6pm. My feet were toasty all weekend.
They are easy to get on and off

The bad:
They are clumpy and heavy and I looked a bit silly in them
I went for a walk in them today and my right heel is killing me
