Roll call for Lincoln - Riding Club Nationals

I'm also doing the Novice 27 test but for the Juniors :) First time going up to Lincoln and we're going up as Area winners... So we are hoping to do fairly well- certainly don't expect to win or anything though! :)

We came 4th individually (on 68.93%) and 5th as a team. Little disappointed with our score as our test deserved more than that. Judge didn't give me anything to really go on, straight 7's with very few comments! How about you?

I had a great time, groomed for a friend. Must say I thought the Riding Test Judges on the Saturday where a bit mean and one of the team members sheet was judged as a Dressage test. Stiil cant work out what the Style Jumping Judge was looking for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our team was 3rd in the open and 2nd in the riding test :)
My own tests wernt as good as hoped but I wsnt surprised really as we left home at 1pm friday, got 18 miles away from lincoln and lorry broke down. My 3 horses were finally rescued by another team member at midnight and reloaded onto another lorry on the side of the main A46 thank god the are perfect loaders as that was not my idea of fun! Then I sat with the lorry waiting for recovery and eventually got to lincoln at 5.15am and was onboard first horse by 8.30, all I can say is thank god for team mates!

This was my 4 th time at Lincoln. The first time I went up , my flu jab on my horses passport was four days out of date . It was from three years before I bought my horse and I didn't know.
It was a long way to go for a hack! What made it worse , was that one of the team got eliminated and because I couldn't jump, the whole team got eliminated.
Every year since, I dread the passport check , even though I know it's all fine now!

There is a flu vac checker on BRC website. Whenever you but a new horse you can input the vac dates and it will tell you if they are correct to BRC rules.
