roller ball spurs dressage legal ????????

as the title says ! i would like to know whether the spurs that have the black plastic roller are legal for dressage. they are supposed to have a kinder effect on the side of the horse and if your horse has sensitive skin will not mark them - god forbid! thankyou

I was told not legal for BD only OK for eventing dressage. Am not a BD member so might be wrong but was told this when enquiring if I could wear them for riding club dressage team.

Fine for BD:

47 Spurs:..."Spurs that have a smooth rotating rubber or plastic ball on the shank are permitted"

Thanks for that info - turned out as a useful post for me as well! Wonder why on earth I was told not allowed to wear them at riding club.

RC have some different rules to BD - perhaps check in the RC rule book.
