We could be in business tonight laydees...

Just been down to check on her ( that was me in the red fleece!) and she is dripping milk in a fast (every 3 seconds!) flow - bag is rock hard and all looks good to go - due date is tomorrow so she's bang on target!

If you look closely you can actually see baby moving in her tum when she's stood still like that!

I thought thats what I could see. Is she due imminently then Rollestone....are we likely to find ourselves in a Kossette situation....ie a sleepless week!!??

I take it K and Kharma are doing well?

Thanks for that Rollestone, she is a beauty!

This is very exciting, what a great idea!

Will you watch it on the webcam or will you go down to the yard?

I watch on the camera until I'm sure she's in labour and then go down and watch/film and am on standby to help if necc...

Kharma is the friendliest baby we've ever had and is growing well after a shaky start with impacted meconium... Wish we could keep him!

Phantom is due tomorrow so she's bang on target really! She's a maiden mare but I think we will be meeting baby tonight or tomorrow night...

Usually they have stopped eating for a while and get increasingly agitated - looking round at tum and kicking belly/stamping feet, tail is often held high and mares will pace - any of these signs and I watch until mare goes down or bag comes out and then I go down - they're only 30seconds away from here...
