well the saddle saga continues for moi, took one i bought back to get refund, that went well.

then rode again in one i think fits the best, just walk trot and canter, to begin with she turned round to bite me when i done the girth up not normal for her.

ok in walk nearly on an outline and same in trot. done some canter and she was throwing head around and being bit funny so not sure if its saddle causing discomfort or her being a lil monkey and releasing after few weeks that i have stopped using martingale.

oh well saddler is coming out wed at 2.30pm now managed to get her to come half hour early also she is bringing some of her saddles incase this one aint right, yes i know possibly risky as she may try to sell me one of hers instead but to be honest dont care as long as saddle fits horse well.

Well the Jess update is good so far

. She seems perkier today - lots of whinnying when she sees me and for food - and was fiesty when the others thought they were going to eat her brekkie!!

Appetite is good - just cut her a load of cleavers, nettles and cow parsley to munch on.

I am very well, i have been either riding or runing most evenings, and it has knackered me out tbh, so i was flaking out!

I am haivng a fab time back in the saddle again, riding about 3 times a week after work, she is a 16.1 chestnut mare, and is a bit chestnut marish at times, she can get her self really worked up and then forgets why and cant seem to calm herself down (a typical girl really....)
Talking of ill gotten gains, I did go to the bath races last night and came home £20 up after all expences of the nite taken into consdieration so v pleased with that.
I am a bit glad the weather is so bad today, means i can chill a bit.

So what has been happenning- Slinky what has happened to your neds? SV how is your chappie? Samstar and FS any news?

To cut long story short my mare who had lami has had to come in a was a bit footy - nothing serious. Little Jess however was bought in on Thurs with what we thought was early lami, went out yesterday morning to give her brekkie and she had a seizure. Vet called and they are running tests - due to weekend results not back until Mon - as it either an acute liver infection (maybe resolved by antibiotics) or ragwort poisoning

......fingers crossed for a solvable infection. Jess is a little 11hh Welsh Sec A who is a big baby who just likes cuddles
