You guys who texted are actually now texting Chris as he i now living where I was and in charge of the cams - hence the delay in him getting down there and in actually noticing she was foaling! and I am not on the farm so have been watching with the rest of you!

Coloured colt - I have had a pic sent and he looks nicely marked, this is the first time Chris has been left in charge without me!

I worried about this the other night with Winter - her filly was a good hour - someone that night said up to 2 hours is ok.

Lola has had 3 previous foals for us, one black, one bay tobiano and one chestnut, so has yet to pass on her dilute gene! Not sure if this little man is bay tobiano or buckskin yet - Chris wouldn't know the difference but given her track record it's probably bay tobiano!
Oh and BTW the mare in Winter's box in Ari - due tomorrow... Phantom is coming in tomorrow.... bloody typical, Nadja jas the best box and is the only one NOT looking like foaling!

Thanks Rollestone - we were a bit worried when a grey returned to Winters box with no foalie and then we were like - eh, she looks very heavy, has to be someone else lol!

This was a great birth today - very quick - Lola certainly seems like an old pro!
