Shes has got her nose in a bucket of feed - Kossette didn't get up for a while - not surprised look at the size of her foal!!

 

[Laafet]

You wouldn't want her to get up straight away as you want the blood in the umbilical chord to finish flowing. We encourage our mares to stay down then pull the foal round when the chord is empty and spray it with blue spray.
