hi she is doing fab but huge he will be 6 weeks 2mrw. she is away st stud at the moment to play with other foals and for mum to be put back into foal. it is important that they get to play with other foals here is a few up to dat pictures of the cheeky wee monkey

she is so cute but also very cheeky. she nipped one of the stud grooms the other day. we are very proud of her and esp proud of mum for producing such a beutiful girl

thanks guys i think having a little bit of spirt makes a great horse.

anyone got any tips onstopping horses muzzles getting sunburn. been putting loads of factor 50 on skye and she is still getting burnt stupid

Little minx didn't look to poorly this evening - took me 10 mins to catch her - at one point she had all 4 hooves off the ground trying to kick one of the others in the head.......

I use a childrens high factor suncream - they are made to 'stick' better and are more waterproof than the ones for adults. If you can put it on inside and leave her in for 20 - 30 mins before going out as it makes the suncream work better as it activates when warmed by the skin and is absorbed a bit (same on humans!!)

To help with the sunburn that is already there put on 100% aloe vera gel and/or give her some aloe vera juice in a handful of food as it will help heal and soothe. Get the gel from a health food shop as it won't have any colours or additives etc in it.
