and now its lovely and sunny

Am off to pick up Sweep - he had his haircut today - so will be straight in the brook when he is back to smell like a spaniel again instead of poncy roses!!!

Been sorting out neds today as although some overcast patches weather has been ok!

So glad that you posted a Rollestone post Slinky!! Was going to do one but have only been popping in and out on pooter today!!

Think I'm off to see "Angels & Demons" tonight! (Is it all about my neds then???

.....I think the next one was due something like June 6th - so fingers crossed she will be in this weekend so we can get to know her and her little tricks!!

Can't believe I had to go back to work today

- came home to find my clean sparkly white horses are..............................

Inca still sparkly white and clean

and

Nixon is completely minging and covered in mud

- the only bit that is clean is his forelock!!!

Sweep has been in the brook and rolled 5 minutes after getting out the car - his mates were laughing at him!!!

Why are all my boy animals stinky and muddy???

Film was quite good...entertaining anyway!

Slinky, it's not just confined to boy horses/ponies, my mare has the copyright on turning sparkling white to muddy brown down to a fine art!!!!

Eurgh the rain last night was awful here too.
But on a lighter note, had a fantastic ride on Darce today

He's FINALLY supplying and working through from behind etc into an outline - hurrah! He will be a dressage horse still. And oh, june the 6th not long away now!! I'll be publicly humiliating Darcy that day

My stoopid spaniel is now lying shaking under a blanket

- he insisted on jumping in the brook forgetting he was now naked so has spent the night next to me on the sofa shivering.....

So would you recommend the film? better or worse than the Da Vinci code??

OH says that it's not as confusing as the Da Vinci code!

Thing is I read the Da Vinci code book and found it quite predictable, but the film was better if you see what I mean!

I'd say this is worth a watch, the Rome backdrop is fantastic, and I loved the representation of the Sistine Chapel.

May go and see it - I never read the Da Vinci Code - it was all the rage when I was in Africa and all the backpackers were reading it but it just didn't appeal to me - saw the movie when I got home and thought it was ok but was sort of glad that I hadn't made the effort to read the book as I just didn't get what the fuss was about!!

Agree Slinky, think if you go with that attitude the film isn't too bad.

I hate it when they hype something up so much, it actually puts me off! OH said that this one had a bit of a slating so I went with the attitude that it was going to be cr*p and came out thinking...well, not too bad...I've seen worse!!!

This boy gets bullied at school by the 'popular ' kids and in the end has commited suicide . Its sort of a modern version of Macbeth i THINK!
Anywho, he comes back and haunts/ kills all of the people that bullied him, putting the one he 'loved' in jail. Its just quite creepy. One of those films where you come home and are worried to look in the mirror incase of whats behind you!!

But..I'll walk a field on my own in the dead of night to check my horses and not think twice about it!!!! Why is that???

I would never walk my field at night to worried I wouldn't be able to see quick enough if horses played up
