DL those tractors are huge, daughters horse grew 10 foot when we saw one the other day and it was in the distance also adding the trailer of over 200 bales it was pulling.

Hacking out round here is a hit and miss affair. You either have mad men taking a cut through to the main road doing 70mph in a 40mph road, going uphill!!!!!

Or, if you're lucky you meet the biggest agricultural machinery known to man!!!

Son hacks out on his own, but has a treasure of a horse, that didn't budge even when one of the villagers felled a tree in front of her!!!

Daughter only hacks in company, and I prefer the school!!

on the rare occasions when I'm able to ride now!!

My worst tractor encounter was with a toothless, hill billy who when he came around a small island in a country lane and i asked him to stop -twice, continued to chase me down the whole flipping lane about 4 ft behind me ! I tried to put darcy in a drive way o) But he spooked at the flower pots..

hows is everyone. i went for a hack today hmm interesting. does anyone else own a horse that spooks at absolutly nothing or is it the invisible horse eating trolls!!!

daft bugger one of these days i swear shes gona fall on her knees.

got saddler coming tomoz

altho with saddle i think fits everytime i go to put it on ned tries to bite me

so i think she might be trying to tell me summit doesnt do it when i put old saddle on

my mare tries to bite me when doing the girth up, am sure the previous owners just slung it on and tightened it up to quickly, now I do it one at a time either side

I'm proud of that role! lol.
My saddler has a 4 week waiting list..so im tempted to go with another one she's recommended. Though, im a bit wary because someone came out from her shop before that lead Darcy to be a bolting/ bucking loon!

i hope goes well too, will have trailer hitched up ready just incase we get a saddle that fits

if im honest im tempted to go with old saddle, but would be happier to have one that fits perfect

I would wait until you have your saddle sorted to be honest.

Friend here at yard has just had her saddle refitted on her 5 year old - was pinching over his withers - saddle doesn't fit at all and the back lady said he had 5 vertebrae out of line and something else wrong as a result. Now has new saddle and has had a week off - but still flinches when saddle goes on - is going to take a while to come right - and she has hardly been riding him due to having a baby and still backing him.
