Rollestone....... Wednesday!!

S_V I'm really, really sorry to hear this, but, looking at the articles,it appears that they can operate on these injuries and horse do become sound again and recover.

I hope that this is the case here and big (((hugs))) and (((vibes)))) from me, how awful for you

Thanks all, I'm just going to look through some articles and try and calm myself down a bit. Your kind words are really appreciated xx (he's the one to the left under my name)

Well, the Rollestone action seems to be on a go slow again tonight!!!

As you know I live at the yard - last year when my mare was on box rest I used to tootle round to put her to 'bed' when it got dark - put in her hay, shut the door and turn radio off - and used to get WTF looks from her, any of the others I disturbed, the sheepdog, the duck etc etc
crazy.gif

Mostly however all I have to do is look out the window - that way they don't know I'm watching them so am saved from their scorn....

Ungrateful so & so's............

I think its about 3 or 4 months - takes a while for the bacteria to build up in the gut. Mind you I think Teddy is going to be an early developer as I have seen him try and munch a blade of straw already
