Are they any good?, are they pretty quiet? or are they a complete waste of money cos they jam up with hair and go blunt after the first use?

Just after a pair of cheap trimmer clippers just for doing the odd bit of trimming like the ears, nose, facial hair etc....that's for the horse not me by the way!

I was just after some cheap and cheerful ones to smarten up his ears, under chin for this weekend as its his first show, noticed those Roma ones are quite cheep, didnt want to pay much because I'd probably only use them a handful of times plus I don't know if he'll let me go near him yet with some.

Thanks for the link though, at least I can see whats on the market.:)

I have had 2 pairs of these now. I use them for tail trimming, trimming of beard and for trimming in the freeze mark.

I used these to get my very nervous about clipping horse over his phobia and they worked.

They are very good for the money and the blades can be easily replaced/sharpened.

Like any clipper, keep the blades clear of hair intermittently whilst clipping and keep the blades oiled.
