Has anyone tried roma sheepskin products? usually use Stephens sheepskin (with the gel) but am looking for something a bit thinner to use everyday-which isn't quite so expensive! However my mare has quite sensitive skin so still need something soft and breathable?

Yes, I use them. I have the half lined saddlecloth and find them brilliant as they don't alter the fit of the saddle like the Stephens ones as I find them really thick.
The Roma ones wash up like new everytime too, I simply brush them with one of the Sissal plastic curry combs to remove the hair, put them in the washer and shake them and then leave them to dry naturally.
They get a thumbs up from me.

I have just bought a dressage half lined Roma cloth in Black (2 months ago), I am really pleased with it and will be buying another for my other horses saddle. It has stayed flufffy and soft and has not matted at all, I simply air it, comb it and it looks new still.

I did think to go with a Stephens but at that price I thought hmmm nope, I bought mine at Equestrian Clearance and I found it to be the cheapest after much searching.

i used to use the stephens sheep skin but i found they made the horse really sweaty and bulky etc. They was a new saddle pad launch in N. Ireland in May and i have never looked back, the irish eventing team chose to used them in beijing and a few top eventing riders. i have 4 horses in work and i used the same saddle pad on them all as it drys in 5minutes, i aslo found that it has affect my horses performance as they are a lot more free and jumping out of there skin including my 130 horse. i brought it of this website by contacting them http://www.apolloairsaddlepad.com/
i would recommend the apollo air over anything even a normal saddle cloth
