Vale View Equestrian, Monday 28th March (tonight!)

The RoR (Retraining of Racehorses) are holding an Evening Demo with World Class Performance Manager Yogi Breisner at Vale View Equestrian Centre

Come and watch Yogi training ex-racehorses at all levels. The cost to attend the demo will be £15 and includes the free RoR 'Racing to Riding' DVD to take home with you.


Anyone going?
 
Not going but have been to one before as a rider and they are well worth going. The experts that gave the talks were very interesting. Mine was with Nick Turner at the Unicorn centre. There were about 8 horses all at different levels of training and different diciplines. Sadly I rode like a knob in front of about 100 people.
 
Im not going but I went to the one at Gleneagles. It was really good, usefull for all horses too not just ex racers. DVD is also good.
 
Yes I went last night, did anybody else go? was a great night especially the jumping part. Liked the show and was very informative.

Some lovely horses especially the one with the lad (think his name was Alec who is a jockey!) on board. A real character who just wanted to do everything quick and kept nodding at the spectators when in front of them

The other horse I liked (was a 1 star eventer) was a real nice type and really improved with the help of Yogi. Think that could go far

Just wondered how you get into these events, are you selected?
 
Glad you enjoyed it Dollybird. Contact Di at ROR and put yourself forward. If you happen to know the instructor ask them. They are always looking for 'victims' for demos, parades etc.
 
I'm going as spectator to the one at Richomond next week, lokoing forward to it, not sure I'm brave enough to be a victim *sorry* rider participant :D
