ROR experts advice please

I'm wanting to fully clip this weekend. I want to get it done whilst its still warm so its not a shock to him and hopefully we won't have shenanigans!! Another reason is we have a ODE next weekend. The weekend after is a local showing show we did rather well at last time we went. I shouldn't get marked down with him being clipped should I?

Are you doing a full clip as that should be fine? I expect after a first clip his coat will be coming back through anyway. I can remember a couple of years back at a March RoR qualifier, the judge made a comment because my horse had been trace clipped but never had that anywhere else.

No you won't be marked down for being clipped at all for any kind of clip but a full clip looks better. Sometimes the lines for blanket/trace etc make your horse look a weird shape.
